most of those are scams because there isn’t a lot they can do if you owe money
I’ve found some excellent information here too…

    Hope that helps.

I would look at trying to do it yourself. It going to take some work but well worth it. You never know what a credit repair person will do with you stuff. There have been so many terrible things said about companies doing this for you.
All they are doing is submitting a document that says I am disputing this item on my credit. You could do that yourself with ease.

    credit repairs can’t fix anything
    only you can
if it’s accurate and negative information
it will not be removed by any of the 3 agencies
only timely payments and time fixes you profile

Well either you can do it for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com or you can pay around $600-$1000.

I was a Mortgage lender for nearly 10 years. I learned how to do credit repair and helped many people go from low 500 scores to high 600 even a couple of 700s, myself included. I went through a divorce and trashed my credit, so I took a class and read some bookd and learned by trial and error. I was able to get off everything, bankruptcies, foreclosures, collections, etc. The problem is that is the VERY time consuming and there is no money in it. I wouldn’t want to have to do it for only 600 or 800 dollars. I started sending my clients to plces like Lexington Law, Clear Credit, Credit Attorney.com, etc. All these places, including the ones that say they are attorneys, do disputes just like I did. They all will get you to pay a start up fee and then a monthly fee so there is no insentive to get your credit clean quickly. They would drag in on and on for over 9 months and still not have everything off.
Just recently, I have changed careers due to the market conditions and now I work for a consumer Law office that offers the services of a Credit Attorney, Lisa F. Rosenthal. Lisa removes negative items off a credit report. She is NOT a “Credit Repair Company” that just does dispute letters, she is registered with the Department of Justice and bonded as a “Credit Service Organization”. There is a difference! She does not do disputes letters month after month like all the others. Lisa really will select only the negative information on the credit report and serve Legal Demands to all 3 Credit Reporting Agencies. When the 3 Agencies receive the Legal Demands, are they are required to PROVE that they have done their due diligence and followed ALL the laws and regulations, both State and Federal, BEFORE they reported any negative information. This can be impossible for them to provide due to the time line and their overwhelming expense. They violate your civil rights everyday and have been getting away with it for over 30years! The Bureaus know thsi and so they concede to the Legal Demands and remove the negative information, update the credit report and improve your clients over all credit worthiness.
Each state has different statutes on debt and depending on which state you live in, the debt is no longer owed and must come off the report. Here in California the statute for credit card debt, for example, is 4 yrs. Another thing, most people don’t know that the collection companies do not have any right to collect, they have no contract with you and legally that is something I personally have been able to help clients get reversed. This attorney does the same. Sounds fantastic right? If you are or know of someone that is credit challenged, you can turn a low FICO score into one that can possibly do a loan for. She even gets off things that you still owe! It gets better. Her one time retainer fee covers a client for 3 years! If the client somehow manages to mess it up again or has any other reason something derogatory shows up (i.e.: Identity Theft), she will go back in a clean it again for NO extra fee. Pretty cool huh? She also offers a 100% money back guarantee after 12 months.
So what does it cost? For one person it is $799 and for a couple it is $1299. As I mentioned before, the retainer fee covers your client for 3 yrs (36 mos.) We do have a payment option of half up front and the rest in 2 payments over the following month, but, no one gets paid until all monies are collected. We are looking for affiliates that need extra money. There are no fees to become an affiliate, just a signed agreement form and a small 20 minute training that can be done over the phone. The Affiliate Program that we offer is to any one that wants to make extra money. A $100 referral fee is paid to the referring Affiliate for any client that pays in full for her services. In addition, if you want to make more money than he $100, you can charge a higher retainer fee to the client and we will give you the difference. Sorry, this is not a MLM and there is not recruiting, just direct sales.
We have a couple of offices charging a $1500 retainer and they get $800 per client. So, if you want this done for yourself and can’t afford it just yet, if you know 4 other people that need this and can afford it now, she will start you cleanup for free and you will owe the $399 balance over the next couple of months.
If you are or know someone that needs extra money and wants to work from home, please send me an email or call me on the cell. Email is kmck413@aol.com and my cell is (949) 812-9213. The office is located in Mission Viejo, CA and we can help anyone in all 50 states.
