I have credit score of around 210. I have unsecure debt of $85,000 with $0 income. I have been delinquent since 2008 and changed my phone number 3 times. And i’m getting sued by several creditors and my bank accounts are shut too.

Now that filing is just around the corner, how much lower can the credit score fall?

Hi. I recently just got my first credit card ever and used it to make a $1600 buy. The credit limit is $3000, so obviously I’m over 50% of the balance, and I just learned that’s terrible for credit scores. I expect to be able to pay off the buy in the next two or three months. Will my credit score go back up immediately after I get the balance on my card down, or will it take a while? Thanks.

I have a high credit score (over 700) & several credit cards I am not using & want to cancel so that I carry just two. I know that canceling these cards would lower my available credit & thus my credit score. In about a year I plot to buy a new car. Would my score recover by then? I am current in all my bills & pay off my monthly balances on time.
